Christian Malford, St Peter's and Tadpole Farm are all "Ofsted Good" schools.
Most recently in May 2017, Tadpole Farm CE Primary Academy had its first Ofsted inspection since opening as a brand new academy in September 2014. The quality of teaching, learning, assessment and pupils’ progress was judged as good across the school. Praise was also given to pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding, which is “developed well through a relevant and diverse curriculum”. The Regional Schools Commissioner wrote to the school to congratulate them on their success, saying “You should be rightly proud that inspectors have recognised your ‘relentless drive and ambition’, as well as the skill with which you have established the school and begun to build a team of staff who can ensure the school can continue to improve as it grows. I was pleased too to read about the strong strategic direction that that the Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust provides to the school…”
St Peter’s CE Academy had a short inspection in April 2017 and the school continues to be Good. The academy’s leadership and self-evaluation practices ensure continual improvement in educational outcomes. Ofsted noted “a strong sense of teamwork and shared determination should equip pupils as thoughtful and capable young citizens”.
Christian Malford CE Primary School had its first inspection since joining the Trust in November 2016; progress in maths and English was commended, as well as the school leaders and staff who ensure pupils have a variety of opportunities to enrich their education. We were delighted that the judgement improved to Good.
Our congratulations to all of the schools.
